About this role
Do you find purpose in working on iconic projects? As a GIS Specialist, you will use your technical background to tackle a range of complex problems and help create the digital and automated project solutions of the future. To thrive with us, you most likely have some experience as a consultant, the ability to turn ideas into action and enjoy collaborating and communicating with both colleagues and clients. This is a permanent, full-time position and annual remuneration is between AUD $90,000- $95,000.

What will I do?
  • GIS coordination and technical support in our projects.
  • Geodata management, transformation, and conversion etc.
  • Management of geodatabases and webservices to support project users and improve decision-making.
  • Automation of data flows and streamlining of internal processes (FME, Python).
  • Development of new services and products within the GIS space.


What will I bring?
  • Experience with the Esri Enterprise GIS ecosystem and associated technologies (Azure, SQL, javascript).
  • Experience in cross-discipline data coordination, publishing and stewardship.
  • Experience with modern geospatial and earth observation technologies (indoor mapping, remote sensing, digital twins).
  • Ability to use mobile spatial and location intelligence applications.
  • Web based user interface development with Javascript and Arcade.
